  8. The Battletech Mech-Konstruktor is a program which alloweds you, to construct
  9. your own Battlemechs with the standard FASA-Battletechrules.
  10.  
  11. At the moment the program supports only the 3025-Rules and it has also
  12. no printer support, so you have to transfer the Datas to a Battletech-
  13. Record Sheet by hand.
  14.  
  15. Before the first start you should check the program "Mech-Konstruktor.Prefs"
  16. in the directory "Einstellungen".

  18. Before every first start after booting, you have to execute the script 
  19. "Erstelle_Assigns".

  21. The software consists of two parts.

  25. 1. The Survey-Window

  27. It shows a picture of the mech and the important datas. With "Effekt"
  28. you get a Damage/Range-Diagram, with "Info" you get a Weapon-List, with
  29. "Copy" you can copy the parent Mech to the other. You can switch between
  30. the two Mech by click on "MechNr".

  37. Here you can edit your Mech by pressing the buttons. Check the Modus and
  38. you can add and delete equipment in the regions you click on (The buttons
  39. for the parts are on the right side).

  46. In calculating the price and the Battle-Value are little bugs (sometimes
  47. the numbers are a bit different from the ones FASA released).
